Good morning. This is Sean Wilson, the Mayor of Waynesville, with your weekly update for December 16th 2024. The City of Waynesville will hold a council meeting on Thursday, December 19th, at 5 pm. All are invited to attend. The City is having its annual Christmas party on December 20th and will only be open for a half day. Due to the event being off-site. The office will be open from 8 am until 11 30 am next week's in.
Mayor Wilson:In observance to Christmas eve and Christmas day, the city hall will be closed. We will reopen on Thursday, December 26th, at 8 am. Again. It will be open on Monday. It just will be closed. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Mayor Wilson:Trash is scheduled to run on the 26th and the 27th of December. However, there will not be any recycle services during next week. The municipal election scheduled on April 8th 2025 is currently open for candidates to file. The last day to file is December 31st 2024 at 5 pm. These dates are established by Missouri state law. The free tax center is coming to Waynesville beginning January 15th through April 15th 2025. Is coming to Waynesville beginning January 15th through April 15th 2025. The tax center will be located at 201 North Street, monday through Thursday from 9 am to 3 pm. The people that are allowed to utilize this service are military retirees, dod retirees, civilian, non-military retirees and Gold Star families families.
